Magic Box Folding Desk
Magic Box folding desk, first designed in 1928 by Swiss architects Mummenthaler and Meier, with this example produced in Norway in the 1960s.
The oak box, designed to resemble a cabinet, fully opens up to a large expanding writing top, lit by a retractable built-in light. Single slim drawer below the desktop with brass handle and further pull out shelf. Including numerous height adjustable shelves and other open storage compartments made of maple, creating an entire office. Closes up completely and locks with a key.
Excellent original condition.
